"Danse avec les stars" enters the Metaverse with Next Dancer and Kinetix!

Find, collect and play with your favorite dances from dancing with the stars in the metaverse!

To give you even richer experiences, the program is partnering with the online dance platform Next Dancer and Kinetix technology, in collaboration with TF1 Licensing and BBC Studios France. This great premiere allows you to turn the iconic moves of Dancing with the Stars into 3D emotes that can be used in the "Next Dancer" video game.

The expansion of the Dancing with the Stars universe into the Metaverse is pioneering in television entertainment. The freemium digital experience transposes the iconic dances of the TF1 program into an interactive virtual environment thanks to the Artificial Intelligence for motion capture and extraction created by the startup Kinetix. It is also a new step in the interaction between Dancing with the Stars and its community since these dance steps will be collectable, exchangeable and usable. They will allow to participate in rich and varied challenges in Next Dancer, a virtual world offering the first dance platform open to all designed for the era of the Metaverse.

When the game opens in early 2023, you'll be able to express your creativity and personality by creating choreographed routines that combine different Dancing with the Stars steps. You will meet and compete with other dancers on the Next Dancer dance floor to become the best dancer in the game. This new kind of experience is a great innovation. Dancing with the Stars strengthens the emotional connection with its audience by allowing them to own and use its dances.
